Again Dido


Dido is a song composer and singer in Britain. She also knows how to play different musical instruments like guitar, piano, flute and violin. She began recording singles that were compiled in a collection named “Odds and Ends”. The collection was sent out by the management of Nettwerk. It is one of the most influential record labels worldwide. She had collaboration with her brother’s band, Faithless. Her success in the music industry continued. Her first album was released in 1999. It was entitled “No Angel”. Her first album made her famous and even more successful internationally.  The debut album was sold in excess of 21 million copies in the whole world.  It won several accolades comprising the two new radio of teens (NRJ) award for being the best album and best act and many more. In 2003, her second album, “Life for Rent” was launched. It also became a hit. In a short span of time it sold million of copies and became multi-platinum. Both of her first two albums became the most-topping and best-selling albums in the United Kingdom.

Dido had her third album in 2008. The album titled “Safe Trip Home” highlighted her collaboration with the Citizen Cope, Brian Eno and Mick Fleetwood. Her self-titled album became the third best-seller album in the United Kingdom.  She then launched a single, “Everything to lose”. It was used in the movie Sex in the City as one of the soundtrack. After four years, in 2012 she returned and released her fourth album, “Girl Who Got Away”. It was one of the top 5 hits in the United Kingdom.

Dido’s innate talent in singing made her one of the many music icons the industry of music. She received many awards including the MTV Europe Music Awards for the Best New Act, the ASCAP Pop Music Awards for her single “Thank You” as the song of the year and the BRIT Awards for the Best British Female Artist.
